Nominating Committee

Per our Santa Fe Ranch Association, Inc. By-Laws,

Article VII-Section 2

The Board of Directors shall select a Nominating Committee consisting of at least two (2) Members, which Members may also be Board Members.  The purpose of said Nominating Committee shall be to name persons to fill vacancies on the Board caused by the expiration of a Board Member’s term.  The Nominating Committee shall prepare a slate of eligible persons, which slate shall be presented to the Membership which shall vote for the appropriate number of Directors necessary to fill the vacancies on the Board.  The Board of Directors shall set the term of office and fill all vacancies which may arise on the Nominating Committee. 

At our Fall Board Meeting, the Board will select who will be the Nominating Committee.  Then in our December mailing to all of the membership, you will receive a letter stating that if you should wish to send in your bio for candidacy, that it will be submitted to the Nominating Committee to be reviewed, and from the selection of candidates the Nominating Committee selects members that they feel would be appropriate for that years ballot.

Annual Meeting Committee

The Annual Meeting Committee is not stated in our By-Laws.  In the Spring of 2003 it was voted for in favor that we select two (2) Board Members to plan the annual event.  At the writing of this document it remains the same for the upcoming years.  As our Annual Meetings grow in size we will have to enlarge the committee per approval of the Board of Directors.
